Moscow-based MRO provider A-Technics, an Aeroflot Group company, is gearing up to perform its first C-check on a Boeing 777. The company has recently obtained an EASA Part 145 maintenance certificate, which covers the Boeing 747 and 777 types.

The provider’s facility at Vnukovo airport outside Moscow is set to have completed a C-check on one of the 777 widebodies operated by Rossiya Airlines (another Aeroflot Group subsidiary) by year-end. The airliner will be returned to the operator in 2018.

No Boeing 747 C-checks are planned this year.
