S7 Technics opens line station at St Petersburg’s Pulkovo

As part of its geographic expansion strategy, S7 Technics, Russia’s biggest aircraft technical care specialist, has entered the aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) service market at St Petersburg’s Pulkovo Airport, Russia’s largest aviation hub beyond Moscow.

S7 Technics’ new line maintenance station at Pulkovo offers an annual capacity of a minimum of 12,000 man-hours. It is licensed for maintenance and repairs of Airbus А320 family, A320neo, Boeing 737NG and Embraer E170 aircraft and, depending on the needs of customers, its capability list will be expanded, explains S7T.

“The launch of a line station at Sheremetyevo [in 2018] and at Pulkovo, are all stages of the systematic development of our own line maintenance station network within Russia. We are now satisfying the line maintenance needs of several airlines with efficient and quality services at seven of the largest airports across Russia,” comments Vladislav Kotenko, director for line stations management at S7 Technics.

Beyond the Sheremetyevo (IATA: SVO), Russia’s largest airport and Pulkovo (LED) stations, S7T also provides line maintenance services at Moscow’s Domodedovo (DME), Novosibirsk’s Tolmachevo (OVB), Vladivostok (VVO), Irkutsk (IKT) and Yakutsk (YKS) airports.

S7 Technics Holding delivers its services to major Russian airlines (S7 Group, Aeroflot Group, Ural Airlines and others) as well as to carriers from Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, providing clients with more than 100 heavy maintenance operations and some 1,000 light maintenance repairs annually.
