Russia’s largest private carrier, S7 Airlines, increased cargo traffic on dedicated freighters by 50% in 2025. The airline operates two Boeing 737-800BCF aircraft, which performed 542 flights during the year. The average commercial load factor reached 85.2%, the carrier said.

In addition, cargo was transported on 54,617 passenger flights during the year. Cargo sales are handled by the airline’s own general sales agent, S7 Cargo.

Novosibirsk and Irkutsk airports account for around 40% of S7’s transfer cargo traffic. Key international import markets include China, the UAE, Türkiye, Kyrgyzstan and Armenia.

Since 2022, the airline has operated about 1,600 freighter flights, transporting more than 30,000 tons of cargo, equivalent to approximately 40 million items.

According to Rosaviatsiya, Russian airlines transported 446,000 tons of cargo in 2025, down 8.5% year-on-year. Domestic volumes declined by 7.9% to 311,000 tons, while international traffic decreased by 10% to 135,000 tons.
