MRO Russia & CIS 2022: civil aviation unites the world

The largest MRO event in Eastern Europe and Central Asia will be held on March 10-11 in Moscow

MRO Russia & CIS 2022 (Aeroflot)

Despite an ongoing global coronavirus pandemic and sometimes tough political issues, civil aviation has always been a means of bringing people together and understanding each other. And maintenance, repair and overhaul business provides a solid foundation for efficient and safe flights.

That is why we believe that MRO Russia & CIS 2022, the international exhibition and conference, the largest MRO event in Eastern Europe and Central Asia, is also a special event for the entire industry. Regular participants point out a special spirit of cooperation that has evolved inside MRO Russia & CIS. Apparently, this is stipulated by the key topic of the event — when it comes to airworthiness, there exists no competition and the greatest market rivals get together. This spirit of cooperation and mutual confidence definitely spreads over other topics of the event being discussed both officially and on the sidelines of the conference and at the exhibition area.

In its 17th year, MRO Russia & CIS 2022 will be held on March 10-11 at World Trade Center in Moscow. The event will be of interest not only to MRO specialists, but virtually to any stakeholder of the commercial aviation market. The markets of Russia and the CIS are now sustainable and even growing, but they are also complex and changing rapidly. Do you want to grasp the current situation? A clear understanding is critical to making decisions, and for this to happen, you must be involved in the process, not just watching from the sidelines. MRO Russia & CIS provides you with the best opportunities for this.

The high level of representation (the event expects more than 700 participants, including about 350 representatives of airlines from Russia and the CIS) will make it the place where you can get reliable and informal first-hand information about the air transportation market in Russia and neighboring countries. This is the reason why the MRO Russia Conference is attended by technical specialists as well as businesspersons and airline top managers.

We are proud to announce among our speakers Mr. Swaran Sidhu, easyJet’s Head of Fleet Technical Management at easyJet airlines, a highly experienced and professional Senior Manager/Leader within the aviation industry, having held senior roles including post holder positions over the last 25 years. Low cost carriers are playing an increasingly important role in the air travel market and Mr. Swaran Sidhu will review the MRO industry from an LCC perspective.

Another key speaker is Mr. Birkan Güneralp, Turkish Technic’s Senior Vice President responsible for the quality assurance and safety management system. Mr. Birkan Güneralp, who also has experience as Vice President of the Turkish Airlines Integrated Operations Control Center, will talk about the safety management system, quality control and risk management of the world’s largest carrier, as well as the organization of interaction and internal control of the systems.

Also of particular interest is the speech of the IATA representative, as well as a panel discussion of Russian and foreign MRO providers and a panel discussion of Russian airlines about their experience of working with Russian and foreign MRO providers.
