JF Service to provide MRO for Embraer business jets
Russian MRO provider JF Service has become an official service center for Embraer Executive Jets’ Legacy 450 and 500 business jets. This comes as part of a larger effort by the Brazilian manufacturer to expand its customer service base in Europe, first announced at the European Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition (EBACE) in Geneva, Switzerland.
Embraer says JF Service, which runs an office at Vnukovo airport, will be able to offer maintenance services on all the Legacy 450/500 aircraft that are registered in either Europe or Russia. The provider was chosen in the run-up to the projected growth in demand for the manufacturer’s business jets in the region. Embraer delivered the first Legacy 500 to a Russian client some time ago.
“Our leadership position in customer satisfaction is the result of a combination of great products, highly skilled people, and a global support network,” said Scott Kalister, senior vice-president for customer support and services worldwide at Embraer Executive Jets. “We are very pleased with the expansion of our services scope in Russia in partnership with JF Service.”
The Russian provider was founded in 2002, after the first Embraer ERJ 135 business jet was delivered to the country. It has since introduced services for different types of aircraft, including the Legacy 600 and 650, the Gulfstream G550, and the Boeing Business Jet.
The Legacy 450 and 500 were certified in Russia in December 2016. Embraer has already received several orders for these models from Russian customers.
