HondaJet debutes in Russia
HondaJet, the ultra-light business jet produced by Honda Aircraft has made its debut at the ongoing JetExpo 2016 in Moscow. The aircraft can be seen at the show’s static display at Vnukovo-3 airport.
The aircrat is already available to buyers in Russia and CIS. On July 1, just two months after the aircraft received its EASA type certificate, HondaJet Central Europe office appointed Aim of Emperor Group as an exclusive distributor of the Japanese aircraft in Russia and the CIS. The company has already signed a contract for the $4.85 million-aircraft with its first Russian customer. The delivery scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2017.
“HondaJet is a technological breakthrough into the future, and we are pleased that Aim of Emperor Group has received an opportunity to step into the future with the Russian buyers,” — says Irakli Litanishvili, the group’s owner.
HondaJet is positioned as a business jet for everyday use. It accommodates up to six passengers and is certified for single-pilot. The aircraft develops a cruising speed of 777 km/h and has a practical flight range of over 2,200 km. The aircraft features navigation Garmin G3000 complex, with the “glass cockpit” is equipped with touch-screen technology for the first time. The aircraft is equipped with a full-size toilet, which is unavailable not only within similar class aircraft, but also in higher class aircraft. Passengers will be pleasantly surprised to see a roomy luggage compartment, which is even larger than in light class business jets.
HondaJet design features engines that are mounted over the wings. This solution allows increasing luggage compartment capacity, reducing the level of noise in the cabin, especially during takeoff and landing, and reducing the aerodynamic resistance.
