Aeroflot IFE interface wins at International Design Awards

Aeroflot’s in-flight entertainment (IFE) system interface has been awarded the silver medal for Interface Design at the ninth International Design Awards in Los Angeles.

The Russian Graphical User Interface used on premier IFE video entertainment devices, was developed by Aerogroup, Aeroflot’s partner and content provider.

Based on the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4”, the devices are offered to business class passengers on narrow body aircraft, and have received excellent reviews thanks to their remarkable usability and the wide range of options.

Aeroflot’s IFE offers more than a thousand entertainment options, including a diverse range of musical programmes and the best modern and classic cinema.

On-board entertainment is a key element in Aeroflot’s customer offering and another example of how Russia’s flag carrier is embedding digital technologies across its operations to improve service quality for passengers.

Aeroflot has won numerous international awards for its service, and holds the prestigious Four Star Airline status from Skytrax, the global standard for airline and airport service quality.
