Aeroflot Group, which encompasses Aeroflot, Rossiya, and Pobeda airlines, has officially unveiled its flight schedule for the upcoming spring-summer navigation season beginning March 29.
The Group is set to offer passengers a total of 302 unique routes, reflecting a strategic emphasis on domestic connectivity. More than half of these destinations—161 in total—are focused on internal Russian travel. A significant highlight of the new season is the continued growth of regional connectivity; the number of routes bypassing the Moscow hub has risen to 172, ensuring more direct travel options for passengers living outside the capital.
The operational breakdown across the Group includes 157 routes for Aeroflot, 120 for Rossiya, and 99 for LCC Pobeda.
NEW ROUTES
While the Moscow hubs of Sheremetyevo and Vnukovo will collectively handle 130 routes, the network’s expansion is most visible in its new additions for 2026. For instance, Aeroflot is introducing new services from Irkutsk to Sanya and Krasnodar to Antalya. Rossiya is adding flights between Krasnoyarsk and Makhachkala, as well as Saint Petersburg and Gelendzhik. Meanwhile, Pobeda is launching a Sochi–Ulyanovsk route and several new international services from Moscow-Vnukovo to destinations such as Nizhnevartovsk, Nukus, Termez, and Fergana.
INCREASED FLIGHT FREQUENCIES
In addition to new routes, the Group is significantly increasing flight frequencies on established corridors. Aeroflot is ramping up service to domestic destinations like Elista and Cheboksary, alongside a boost to international hubs in Kazakhstan, Armenia, Egypt, Turkey, China, and Vietnam.
Rossiya is similarly expanding its presence in Saint Petersburg, Khabarovsk, and Krasnoyarsk, while adding more capacity from Samara and Volgograd to Yerevan.
KEY DESTINATIONS AND FLIGHT GEOGRAPHY
For travelers between the nation’s two largest cities, Aeroflot will maintain its high-frequency Shuttle program between Moscow and Saint Petersburg.
The Group’s tourism and regional strategy remain robust, covering 65 domestic cities and 141 international routes. Popular leisure destinations such as Thailand, India, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, and the Maldives are well-represented.
Connectivity to the Black Sea resort of Sochi is a priority, with flights arriving from 21 different cities, while the Krasnoyarsk hub continues to act as a vital gateway for the Far East and Siberia. Furthermore, Yekaterinburg and Saint Petersburg remain critical focus cities, with extensive domestic and international networks served by all three airlines in the Group.
FLYING START
This expansion follows a strong start to 2026, with the Group reporting a 3.4% increase in total passengers during January and February, reaching 7.76 million. Growth was particularly sharp on international lines, which saw a 10.5% increase in traffic. With RPKs up by 8.0% and overall capacity increasing by nearly 4%, the Group is well-positioned to meet the heightened demand of the summer travel season.
