StandardAero to service Nordica APUs

Arizona-based MRO provider StandardAero will carry out maintenance on the auxiliary power units (APUs) of Estonian carrier Nordica’s aircraft, reads the US company’s statement.

StandardAero will take care of the Honeywell RE220 APUs installed on board the airline’s two Bombardier CRJ700 and eight CRJ900 regional passenger jets. It will also maintain the Pratt & Whitney Canada PW127M units on Nordica’s two ATR72-600 turboprops. The MRO specialist stresses that the contract with the Estonian carrier strengthens its presence in Europe.

StandardAero also provides services to Russian airlines. In particular, it has maintained aircraft engines for Komiaviatrans and NordStar.
