SR Technics and Ukraine International Airlines (UIA) have signed an agreement under which the Swiss MRO provider will supply the airline with components for its fleet of Boeing 737NG narrowbodies.

The agreement gives the carrier access to SR Technic’s spare parts pool and also covers maintenance procedures, to be carried out at the provier’s facilities in Zurich.

SR Technics was selected through a tender. “We received a competitive offer,” says UIA CEO Yuri Miroshnikov. “We chose SR Technics for their flexibility, a comprehensive range of technical solutions, and their ability to adapt their maintenance capacities to our emerging needs.”

The carrier has been gradually expanding its Boeing 737NG fleet. The latest delivery took place in June this year, bringing the total number of these aircraft in UIA’s operation up to 25.
