Rossiya takes delivery of sixth Boeing 777

A 777-300 with tail number EI-XLP was built in 1999 and previously operated by Singapore Airlines and Transaero

A sixth Boeing 777 has joined the fleet of Rossiya Airlines, which belongs to Aeroflot group. This particular aircraft, a 777-300 with tail number EI-XLP, was built in 1999 and previously operated by Singapore Airlines and Russia’s Transaero (now defunct).

The leasing provider for this aircraft is the Russian VEB Leasing, which leased the most recently delivered aircraft of this type in Rossiya’s fleet.

The aircraft is fitted with 373 seats, with 18 in business class and 355 in economy, which is the same configuration of the previous 777-300 delivered to Rossiya.

Rossiya currently operates 32 narrow-body Airus A320s, 16 narrow-body Boeing 737-800s, 6 Boeing 777s, and 6 wide-body Boeing 747s.
