RUSSIAN AIR TRAVEL MARKET CONTINUES ON A STEADY RECOVERY TRACK

In July this year Russian airlines’ combined traffic reached 12.5 million passengers, just 12 per cent down on the same month of the pre-COVID 2019, according to the recent report by the country’s aviation authority Rosaviatsiya. The Russian air travel market clearly continues on track of a steady recovery.

The significance of the domestic market, Russia’s relatively stable economy and the mass vaccination of the population, which is gaining momentum, pave the way for air travel market recovery in Russia, which may outpace the global recovery rates and create favorable opportunities for MRO market recovery.

What changes are re-shaping the aircraft maintenance industry? How can industry stakeholders adapt and streamline their business in the new reality? What is happening in engine and component repairs? These – and other no less pressing questions will be discussed at the conference’ panel discussions, involve top managers from local and international leading providers and airlines, such as S7 Technics, А-Technic, TS Technic, Lufthansa Technik, VD Gulf, Aeroflot – Russian Airlines, Ural Airlines, Utair, Red Wings, Smartavia and others.
