Embraer has announced that Jet Flight Service (JF Service), which is based at Moscow’s Vnukovo International Airport, has been approved as an Embraer Authorised Service Center (EASC) to expand its support capability for Legacy 600/650 business jet customers in the Russian capital.

It means that JF Service, which is certified by the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), is now permitted to perform scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance, components and part exchange types of inspections at a variety of levels of complexity for those aircraft platforms.

“We are pleased to have Jet Flight Service as part of our global network of Embraer Authorized Service Centers, enhancing our presence in a strategic market in Europe by offering Legacy 600/650 owners and operators the best solutions in services and support for optimal operation with a competitive value,” insists Frank Stevens, Embraer’s global vice-president of maintenance, repairs and overhaul (MRO) services and support.

“We are proud to extend our association with Embraer, enhancing our service spectrum for the Embraer customers in Russia, securing aircraft availability and reduced costs,” adds Kirill Trushkovskiy, general manager of Jet Flight Service.

JF Service was founded in 2002 in Moscow at Vnukovo-3 business aviation center, starting with the support of Russia’s first Embraer-135BJ aircraft. Over the years the company has expanded its expertise to cover Embraer Legacy 600/650, and the line of Gulfstream aircraft up to G550, as well as the Boeing BBJ. In May 2018 has opened a new maintenance service center at Riga, Latvia which provides base maintenance services for the EMB-135/145. The company also has a line maintenance station in Bangkok to support Legacy 450/500/600/650 operations.
