Aeroflot expands fleet with two new Airbus A320s

Aeroflot has taken delivery of two new A320s equipped with aerodynamic wing-tips known as Sharklets.

Both A320 aircraft are named in honour of outstanding Russian poets. VP-BEO bears the name of Afanasy Fet, and VP-BET has been named Andrey Voznesenskiy.

All A320 aircraft family are delivered to Aeroflot directly from the manufacturer. The airliner is equipped with CFM56 engines and can accommodate 158 passengers in a spacious two-class configuration (8 seats in business and 150 in economy). Aeroflot operates А320 aircraft across its European and domestic routes network. Aeroflot is one of the world’s leading airlines in terms of operational reliability and actual hours flown per A320 aircraft.

A320 airplanes satisfy the highest reliability, safety and comfort standards and are considered one of the best for mid-range flights.
